## What agents can do

With Microsoft 365 connected, a configured AI client can use the Pear tools its
current plan, role, and approval settings expose to:

- Read, search, draft, send, and organize Outlook Mail.
- Read, create, update, move, search, and delete Microsoft 365 Calendar events.
- Create and manage Microsoft To Do tasks.
- Search contacts and use contact context in mail or scheduling workflows.
- Find free time and coordinate meeting follow-up.

## Documented client paths

Pear publishes setup guides for Claude, ChatGPT, Grok, Codex, Hermes Agent,
Cursor, Windsurf, Cline, Poke, and other client surfaces. Each guide lists the
authentication method and any relevant plan, role, workspace, and tool-permission
requirements.

## Example prompts

- "What is on my Outlook calendar tomorrow and what should I prepare?"
- "Send a short Outlook follow-up confirming the meeting time."
- "Create Microsoft To Do tasks for each action item in this plan."
- "Find recent Outlook mail from this customer, summarize it, and draft a reply."
- "Move my 3pm meeting to a free slot on Friday and email the attendees."

## Security

Pear uses Microsoft OAuth for Microsoft 365. Pear does not store your Microsoft password. Provider tokens are encrypted and can be revoked through Microsoft account or tenant controls.
